Our 18th June event on the Creek GC turned out to be the first really humid day of the year and one of our guests unfortunately took a turn for the worse.. we wish him a speedy recovery...
And there were a few others who also succumbed to the sweltering conditions.. but I am happy to also add that the majority ploughed on and finished what was a gruelling event and on a course with very fast greens...
The prize giving was a little delayed due to the attendance of our in house Doctor, Andrew Devine, but thanks to our sponsors Conex ( Thank you Chris and Richard ) and eGolf Megastore .. I think we all enjoyed the day and certainly there were some happy recipients of the generous prizes.. yellow foam balls for those who dabbled in the Creek and highest score man Stuart, who received quite rightly some pink practice balls...
Div A winner. Matt Irish 38 points... Div A Runner up. Dan Irish 35 points... Div B winner Nic Pycynski 31 points.. Div B Runner up ( not present so prize carried over to next event ). NTP Hole 5 Mark St Germain... NTP Hole 14 Tobias Merten... NTP in 2.Hole 3. Josh Clarke... Longest Drive. Andy ( medic ) Drees...
PLEASE NOTE.. Because we rely on the generosity of our valued sponsors, it is a rule that you have to stay for the prize giving or you lose out... Only real emergencies will be the exception.. we apologise for that, but a no fee no subs society relies on the sponsors and its only fair we all stay behind to either receive or cheer them on...
Please register for next months event... July 16th. The Earth GC. 7.30am Shotgun 350aed
And finally.. If you have received your eGolf discount card, please make sure you have registered as a member ( membership page on the web site ) as these may be checked.. If you have not yet received your discount card, then I will bring them to the next event in July and all you have to do is ask me... Thanks everyone, it was a scorchio day, we had a casualty who I am sure will fully recover, and the effort you all made to make the day a great one, was as always with the Divots... brilliant....
