What a great day out at JebilAli, JA Resort Golf Course.... !
The Sponsors and Divots committee thank one and all for your continuing support and a day of fun with a bit of golf mixed in...
Our outgoing Captain and Vice Captain, having resurrected the Divots, will now become a bit of the Dubai Divots History and its 'au revoir' rather than a farewell, because Scott will remain on the committee and Billy will retire to a far distant backwater, apparently called Grimsby, where northern winds blow at freezing point and they talk in some strange dialect ! But we all suspect Billy and Jenny, will be frequent visitors back here where the sun shines and friends are plentiful...

1st Billy Acklam 39 pts ( yes ! ) . 2nd Phillipa Wilson 38 pts . 3rd Jenny Acklam 33 pts

And of course we have a new category... Lowest score .. winning a pink ball... This months "winner" is Mr Richard Holmes...11 points ( we have seen far worse before ) but who was very appreciative, as he admitted it was very rare for him to win a prize... !!! Richard has mentioned that he will get the pink ball mounted and signed, so that each recipient in the future, can be remembered for their terrible performance... "good on you Richard... "
The windy conditions did not seem to affect the Acklams, Mr Smith or Mr Fleming, indeed between them they somehow managed to clean up on most prizes, but congratulations to all the winners, including everyone who attended the event because when you are a Dubai Divot, you are always a winner, no matter how good or bad your golf is on the day...
